Turlock Dairy and Refrigeration, Inc. was founded in xxxx. With a staff of four employees, the new business’ sole focus was servicing dairy and refrigeration equipment. In the next four decades, the dairy industry changed, and the Turlock-based firm also changed to better serve its growing clientele. General construction was added to its core business of building dairies, manufacturing, installing and servicing equipment. With successful commercial projects that include multi-million dollar chicken-laying houses for JS West Co. and a Prime Shine Express Car Wash facility in Modesto, the name Turlock Dairy and Refrigeration, Inc. was changed to TDR Inc. to better reflect the many new facets of the growing business.
Job Description
Full time opening for an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent in Turlock, CA.
Job responsibilities:
· All daily field operations and quality to include coordinating, supervising and scheduling subcontractor activities
· Interfaces closely with the Management Team
· Responsible for regular communication with all vested professionals such as employees, customers, subcontractors and project management
· Enforce safety procedures; in-depth knowledge of applicable safety laws and standards.
· Monitor progress, budget and job costs
· Set standards for quality
The ideal candidate MUST have the following background:
Minimum of 3yrs experience as a superintendent in commercial construction
Strong leadership, management, and organizational skills
Knowledge of MS Project and Excel
Experience in site development as well as general construction
Preferred qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
Concrete experience
Metal building erection
Salary is DOE, it is a mid-career level position.
