Job Description
Skills and Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years of Food Manufacturing.
- Must be able to stand constantly.
- Occasional walking, bending, climbing and twisting.
- Carrying 25 lbs to 50 lbs occasional for a distance of 15ft, 30 ft.
Functions and Responsibilities:
- Retrieves bags of tortillas (3 dozens) from boxes.
- Opening bags of tortillas, placing and stacking tortillas on a table.
- Uses a shovel to retrieve filling from the tank and transferring in hopper and wiping hopper 2 to 3 times per day.
- Employee is shoving food into hopper after two hours rotate to another location packing burritos.
- Packing- packs and places burritos, sandwiches, or trays in the wrapping machine.
- Counter/ Packer- counts and packs burritos that are folded and wrapped in a box.
- Employee is stationed at each production location for (1/2) half-hour to (2) two hours then rotates to another location.
- Working around equipment and machinery (hopper, metal detector, and conveyor belts).
- Exposed to excessive machinery noise.
Pay Rate and Shift:
- Position pays $8.75 an hour.
- 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
