GARLOCK PRINTING & CONVERTING CORPORATION continues to expand and add to our team. Our unique flexographic process sets us apart from other manufacturers in our industry. We are seeking energetic Press Assistants interested in joining a team, who is looking for a financially sound company, and process the desire to learn new innovative ways to produce quality products.
What you will be doing: assistance in the set-up and operation of flexographic CI printing press. Comparing ink color in kits, testing ink viscosity, cleaning press components, and loading/unloading poly.
We have 12 hour shifts (7AM ? 7 PM or 7 PM ? 7 AM). Differential for night shifts available.
What you need for this position: verbal communications skills, visual acuity to machine operation and product details as well as written material, manual coordination and dexterity in the use of ordinary hand tools, and the physical ability to lift various weights, climbing and reaching around machinery. Basic math and measuring abilities.
