As a Supervisor, the candidate should expect to work front of house shifts daily as well as assisting with the mechanic shop as applicable. Responsibilities include answering phone, making reservations for bicycle rentals and cabins, operating POS systems for bike/cabin operations and retail operations, scheduling bike rentals, communications with shuttle driver, and communications with State Park Staff, performing safety speech, filling out rental paper work with guests, and checking bikes in and out of operation. Staff also responsible for housekeeping at two remote cabins accessible by mountain bike and bike trailer. Desk Agent Staff may also be occasionally be called upon to assist in setting up a bike with appropriate pedals, and various adjustments. The position is considered front line customer service. Essential Functions: Repair, check, set-up, and fix bikes following Industry standards Prepare hikes on time for rentals and other deadlines Complete work history by bike unit # and file Keep the supply and part inventory of the workshop updated Keep the bench and the workshop clean Provide feedback about bicycles Be part of the team and provide guest service and cabin and bike information and rentals to guests. Assist with front desk and orientation duties as needed Complete knowledge of Spooner Lake Concession operations to include bike rentals, shuttle services, bike mechanic shop, and cabin rentals a Spooner. Quickly and efficiently answer telephones, handling multiple phone calls, taking reservations, scheduling bike rentals, scheduling cabin rentals, check in for bikes and cabins and shuttle operations Trained on reservations and retail pro point of sale operations. Trained how to "set-up bike for rider Knowledge of sales programs, packages Accurate paperwork completion for cabin and bike rentals. Check out and waiver. Preparing shuttle pick-up lists Radio Communication with park rangers, park volunteers, and shuttle drivers Maintain accurate tracking of guest counts Properly handle group inquired for bike rentals Miscellaneous filing, prepare and send faxes, make copies, general office duties. Assist mechanic staff and supervisor when applicable Follow ARAMARK grooming standards Professional Sales and retail demeanor and behaviors Staff will be prepared to perform other related duties as assigned. Upholding all "be the difference guest service standards. Status and Scope: The position reports to the Spooner Recreation Supervisor. Candidate must be able to provide excellent guest service, perform well on multiple POS systems, be able to schedule bike rentals and cabin rentals, schedule shuttle trips, excellent communication with all affected parties, communicate safety and park orientation to guests, stock retail and F&B grab and go shelving, set up bikes for guests, clean and light maintenance on cabin rentals, and be able to bike up to 5 miles a day hauling water, firewood, and other supplies on a bike pulled trailer.
