Job Description
Our client is currently seeking a WMS Process Manager.
SUMMARY

Will report to the Director of DC Operations
Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Manhattan WMS in a 400,000+ sq ft distribution center for a branded product company with multiple sales channels.
Define and lead key WMS-driven processes in the DC.
Provide first line of support for identified issues and conduct ongoing training to empower end-users.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain system expertise for warehouse software (Manhattan WMS v12) and the interface between the warehouse software and other software, including the host ERP system.
Act as the primary support of the Manhattan WM system for the Distribution Center's user community.
Act as clearing house for outstanding issues - quickly identify root cause and drive to resolution or escalate to appropriate support center.
Position is a dotted line report to the Manager, Global Distribution Systems. Work with the Global D&L team, Corporate IT team, and external resources to successfully close support service request issues.
Work with project teams to help implement, maintain, and improve internal systems and processes by carrying out test plans in order to test system modifications, patches and improvements.
Train end users to work with the warehouse and business systems and programs, including new functionality or configuration.
Manage user accounts on warehouse systems.
Define and manage key WMS-driven processes, including Slotting, Labor Management and Cycle Counting.
Develop reporting from WMS to support DC management.
Manage a small team of supervisors and leads responsible for key processes and reporting.
May sometimes be "on call" outside of normal work hours to support a 24/7 operation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong proficiency (minimum 5 years of experience) with Manhattan Warehouse Management (WMS).
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Ability to extract data from system using SQL (SQL Developer).
Supervisory and/or project leadership experience (2 years minimum).
Experience training and supporting end users of WMS.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests to ensure timely response to the users.
Work experience and a good understanding in warehousing / distribution operations including Inventory Control.
