VISUAL MERCHANDISE COORDINATOR
The key functions of an Area Visual Merchandise Coordinator will be to implement and maintain Lorna Jane Visual Merchandising fundamentals and policies within your area to promote sales and control the overall look and feel of the stores. You will also be required to facilitate and mentor store management teams, enforcing the standards of Visual Merchandising and Stock Management. You must ensure the key fundamentals of Visual Merchandising and Stock Management are maintained in each store.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS
Ensure completion of Store Visual Merchandising directions as directed by the VM Manager.
Ensure stores are merchandised in accordance with Lorna Jane merchandising fundamentals.
Co-ordinate in store direction outlined in emails, VM directives, and promotional documents.
Have the ability to identify business needs based on the market/demographic and adapt VM principles based on performance.
Maintain an acceptable standard of merchandising and house keeping within your area of stores.
Participate and take a leading role in conducting VM store walk through reports for merchandising standards and housekeeping checklists during store visits.
Ensure end of day recovery and ongoing merchandising maintenance is to the company expected standard in stores.
Troubleshoot and resolve in store merchandising issues and implement new ideas based on sell through of specific lines.
Work side by side the store manager and/or the store VM contact during store visits to actively couch and support them while assessing their skills and talents.
Actively participate in the merchandising and set up of new stores and store relocations.
Identify opportunities for creative customer interaction and engagement.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Coach and mentor store management teams in the acceptable merchandising and housekeeping standards.
Conduct one on one training with store team members in all areas of visual merchandising.
Assist individual management team members on an ongoing basis, so that they can contribute to visual and stock solutions for their store and identify any issues relating to in store merchandising standards and stock presentation.
Complete detailed documentation of training in the Visual Merchandising Store Walk Through Report and re-visit training focuses on each visit.
STOCK MANAGEMENT
Consolidation of styles between stores.
Enforce back room management specific to particular store and grading.
Create specific strategies based upon high and low sell through of items in store.

Advocate the Move Nourish Believe philosophy on a professional level and ensure in store displays are in line with this philosophy.
Integrate the campaign message into Visual direction and execution.
Positively support change management as a leader in the business.
Act in a professional matter at all times and set an appropriate example for store team members.
COMMUNICATION AND COMPLIANCE
Provide feedback to store managers regarding the merchandising standards and compliance level in their store.
Provide regular feedback to the District Leader and VM Manager on the progress and skill level of the staff in store.
Provide feedback to the Store Manager, District Leader, and VM Manager in relation to merchandising and house keeping standards in the Store Walk Through Report.
Identify merchandising needs in each store and assist in prioritizing and planning implementation of any VM requirements.
Generate and send Weekly VM Reports to the District Leader, VM Manager, Stock Controller, and Marketing contact.
Send requested photos from store visits once a week to VM Manager
