Be part of a growing Employee Owned Company Truckee Rents is now hiring for the following full time position: RENTAL COUNTER AND YARD ASSOCIATE Duties include, but are not limited to: Rental Counter Schedule and process rental equipment orders and contracts Assist customers with rental equipment questions and concerns Greet customers when entering and leaving establishment Knowledge of all store products and services Handle cash transactions with customers Scan goods and collect payments Answer phones Rental Yard Check in and out rental equipment Load and unload rental equipment Pickup and Delivery of rental equipment Inspect rental equipment for damage prior to rental and upon return of equipment Perform daily inspection on rental equipment and tools Light servicing and maintenance of rental equipment Drive and operate forklift Ability to lift up to 100lbs to 150 lbs Attend all required safety meetings and trainings Requires continuous physical activity including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting and maneuvering heavy material and equipment Required Skills: Clean driving record Outstanding customer service Outgoing and friendly Communication and time management skills Attention to detail and mathematical skills Ability to Multitask Ability to stand for an extended amount of time Previous rental equipment knowledge is a plus Point of Sale system knowledge is a plus Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays Candidates should be able to work in a fast paced environment and enjoy being part of a team Benefits include medical, dental, vision, vacation and sick pay, significant store employee discount and participation in Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP)
