Description:
Assists in the production of all types and sizes of cupels to include, but not limited to, the following: Know differences in raw material types and ingredients required for each product manufactured, understand proper weighing and measuring procedure for each ingredient, proper labelling and packaging of each type and size of finished product.
Job Responsibilities:
The following is an overall description of the duties required to manufacture and package cupels.
: Loading of Ribbon Blender
: Verify type of product to be manufactured.
: Load, via fork lift, raw material onto blender loading platform.
: Insure dust collector hose is in place and collector is energized.
: Load specific number of bags required into blender.
: Start blender to mix dry materials.
: Dispense specific amount of water and binder into their proper containers.
: Blend water and binder into their common container and start flow into blender.
: After liquid is dispensed, add Boric Acid.
: After mixing is complete, open gate valve and empty batch into drum.
: Cupel Press Operation
: Be certain all guards and doors are in place and cycle press as necessary to insure that the tooling is aligned.
: Scoop material from drum into bucket (not to exceed 40 pounds) and empty bucket into press hopper.
: Begin running and adjust press pressures and speed according to material characteristics.
: Press Assist
: Keep press hopper loaded according to 2:B above.
: Move pallets of cupels from press to hood.
: Turn on dust collector and clean cupels with air.
: Remove from hood and place on rack or floor for drying according to proper type and size.
: After row is completed (9 pallets) ID with proper product type.
: Packaging
: After cupels have dried (minimum 3 days) begin packaging.
