Job Summary: The Team Lead will be the operational leader and direct supervisor of one (1) specific activity and will support additional activity operations. Team Lead opportunities include Ropes Courses, Zip Lines, Kids Zip Line and Ropes Course, Tubing, Mountain Coaster, Climbing Wall and Canopy Tour. This person is part of the Leadership Team and will report directly to a Supervisor; part of the Management Team. This person will be responsible for directly monitoring the quality of overall activities operations on a daily, weekly and seasonal basis. Implementing standard operating procedures; ensuring exceptional service/experience delivery; ensuring alignment with department, resort, and company goals. Accountable for managing the day to day operations to maximize financial success. Ensuring guest and staff safety; managing & leading a team; helping with other needs in the department and the growth and development of their activity and staff.
Job Responsibilities:
Training
Assist Management Team in hiring and training front line staff for operations and guest service
In conjunction with their Supervisor, maintain the training programs for staff related to guest service, daily operations, and emergency response that meet all applicable codes and regulations
Distribute/gather training assessments of front line staff Training Check Off Form
Ensure full completion of Training Check Off Forms by front line
Gather forms at Department Training and ensure proper completion
Deliver safety topic to team at Morning Meeting
Oversee/schedule rescue practice (if applicable); input staff completions on tracking spreadsheet accordingly
Operations
Oversight of operations staff including hiring, training, achieving staffing goals and managing performance to meet service and financial goals
Maintain operating procedures, inspection logs and safety standards for employees and guests
Conduct daily morning meetings, address operations and guest service needs by setting clear goals and objectives for staff
Distribute daily inspection forms (PPE & Course) to front line staff; Collect, review, and sign off ?? daily
Update Inspection form templates electronically
Complete EOS daily with all topics throughout the day
Set and communicate Daily Rotation to front line at Morning Meeting
Maintain and update schedules daily with days off requests, day trades, last day of work; managing the operation in order to achieve budget goals according to departmental guidelines
Responsible for guest and employee safety and guest safety including compliance with state, federal, and industry regulatory operating requirements (ie. USFS, OSHA, ANSI, ASTM, ACCT, IAAPA, etc.).
Support their Supervisor in incident/accident investigations
Actively foresee, plan for, and mitigate any hazards or risks associated with their activity
