What are we looking for in a candidate? Someone with a stable work history and the ability to demonstrate past successes related to a manufacturing or similar production environment. Five or more years of Industrial Electrical Experience is required. Allen Bradley and other PLC experience required. Wonderware exposure is a plus.
As a 24/7 manufacturing facility of fiber cement building products, we ask that you be able to:
* Performs necessary maintenance to the equipment and machinery to repair or replace the defective parts.
* Perform a variety of electrical tests to determine exact cause of issue.
* Perform adjustments and calibration procedures on various forms of process equipment.
* Perform Preventative Maintenance as instructed on all equipment/machinery/facility.
* Make necessary electrical installations and/or repairs; services plant boilers, autoclaves and gas fired ovens.
* Work with each department providing necessary electrical support to ensure day:to:day maintenance issues are resolved.
* Maintain an electronic log of any highlights occurring during shift coverage.
* Maintain working knowledge of mechanical/electrical principles/concepts.
* Read/comprehend instructions given thru electronic/mechanical instruction books.
* Effectively communicate in a one:on:one or small group situation.
* Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
* Work 12:hour shifts that could include rotation between days and nights or fixed nights.
* Lift up to 40 pounds on a continuous basis.
* Walk, stand and/or sit for extended period of time.
* Read, write and speak English.
* Learn and be comfortable operating large forklifts and other heavy equipment.
* Work around bulk raw materials, moving equipment, high pressure water, varying temperatures and other environmental conditions related to cement board manufacturing.
* Use multiple types of personal protective equipment.
