Company Description:Allstate Insurance CompanyJob Description: This position requires licensing in both P&C and Life/Health. This position will require expertise in the sales and service of all lines of business in the office as well as a back up to all agency employees. Key Functions: Oversees the day-to-day operations of the agency and implements programs to meet long-term and short-term goals for agency growthSupervises staff in the agency on day-to-day activityPerforms regular checkpoints and annual employee evaluationsWorks directly with the agency owner on pay and compensation issues for employeesMaintains personnel files: vacation and sick leave, employee reviews, etcMonitors staff licensing insuring that each staff member maintains proper licensing and required continuing educationMonitors activity of non-licensed employees to insure all state laws regarding “non-licensed activity” is followedPossesses thorough knowledge of and ability to implement all agency policies and proceduresAssists agent/owner in establishing a budget and monitoring revenue and expensesTracks production and servicing of each employeeReviews customer accounts and assists in problem resolution as neededOversees and manages processes for marketing campaigns, customer service and underwriting issuesMonitors Loss Ratio and retention trends and adjusts agency operations to address negative resultsKeeps the agent/owner informed of progress toward agency goals and any problems within the agencyMeets with each sales producer on a regular basis to ensure that agency sales and profit goals are being met
