Our healthcare solutions firm intends to contract an EMR software expert to meet online with our client's office managers, take control of their computer mouse and keyboard, and then run 3 reports. As a part of our team, you must maintain HIPAA compliance as you would have 100% Business Associate authorities working with our physician clients. We have found that many of the practices we work with, do not know how to do this. The (3) reports would simply be:
1. demographics report (last two years, all patients)
2. billing report minus charges (last two years, all patients)
3. insurance report (last two years, all patients)
4. **possibly, demographics sheet with current prescribed Rx
