Job Description
Position: Senior ASP.NET Architect
Work Location: Carson City, NV
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Senior Programmer Analyst (SPA) #1 Senior ASP.NET Architect
This position will be 40% Team Lead/Project Management and 60% Design and Development. The SPA #1 must:Have the capability to perform the functions described in Section 13, Scope of Work;
Have ten (10) or more years of building secure enterprise web applications using Microsoft .NET Framework stack and SOA;
Have experience in reviewing existing web application and analyzing the architecture;
Have experience as a lead role in reviewing system architecture / set-up and be able to solve complex problems for eCommerce and response time sensitive Enterprise applications;
Have experience in creating and reviewing technical documents like Architecture blueprint, Design specifications, Deployment architecture, Workload modeling, testing strategy etc.;
Have strong experience in OOAD and in applying Design patterns effectively;
Be an expert in the .NET 4.0 and above Frameworks, ASP .net, C#, MVC 4 or higher using Microsoft Visual Studio;
Be an expert with jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, bootstrap, SubVersion, log4net and Telerik Controls for MVC;
Be an expert in Service Oriented Architecture using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF);
Be an expert in Oracle database design and PL/SQL;
Be an expert in developing eCommerce websites;
Be highly skilled in securing .NET Web applications;
Have the ability to function with little direction and minimum guidance;
Have experience in leading technical design sessions;
Have strong documentation and written communication skills;
Have experience in implementing Scrum and being as Scrum master;
Have experience in managing projects using Microsoft Project xxxx and above; and
Have the ability to complete quality work under set schedules and timelines
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS DESIRED
Senior Programmer Analyst (SPA) #1
Experience with Avanade ACA.NET and/or Microsoft Enterprise Library is desired
Familiarity with Web Services Security (WS-* specifications) and end-to-end message-level security is desired
Experience in working with Wells Fargo payment gateway is desired;
Experience in developing any tax filing web applications
Scrum master certification is desired
Knowledge of Vulnerability testing of a website
Microsoft Project certification
Experience with Visual build (
SCOPE OF WORK
Consultants must perform all activities to the agreed upon project plan/schedule.
Senior Programmer Analyst (SPA) #1
Analyze, evaluate and understand existing web application architecture and how it integrates with other systems;
Facilitate required meetings;
Identify the appropriate migration method and technology using Microsoft .NET MVC Framework;
Assess and document risks if identified;
Act as a team lead and .NET design architect;
Understand internal deployment process and recommend the best deployment process;
Work with State staff and perform knowledge transfer;
Create required technical artifacts and modify existing as needed;
2.1.9 Design, develop, test and document using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF and .NET Framework 4 and above;
2.1.10 Migrate existing ASP.NET 1.1 website to .NET Framework 4 and above according to agreed design and architecture; and
Create or modify Oracle PL/SQL packages
